The Processing Lab will involve handling the products coming from the bioreactors. The facility will be equipped with all the necessary apparatus to facilitate the five critical stages of downstream processing: solid-liquid separation, release of intracellular products, concentration, purification by chromatography, and formulation. The equipment utilized in this space would be at bench scale.
